The Guangxi Procuratorate prosecuted Wu Dakui for suspected bribery and negligence of state-owned company personnel in accordance with the law

According to a recent announcement from the Supreme People’s Procuratorate, Wu Dakui, the former deputy general manager of Guangxi Honggui Capital Operation Group Co., Ltd., is facing serious legal challenges. He has been charged with bribery and dereliction of duty as a public company employee. The case has been designated to the Fangchenggang People’s Procuratorate, which has initiated legal proceedings against him in the Fangchenggang Intermediate People’s Court. The case is currently under further investigation.

During the prosecution review phase, the procuratorial agency informed Wu Dakui of his rights in the legal process and conducted an official interrogation, also considering the opinions of his defense attorney. The Fangchenggang People’s Procuratorate has accused Wu Dakui of leveraging his positions as former deputy general manager, general manager, and chairman of Guangxi Baise Yinhai Aluminum Co., Ltd., as well as his roles at Guangxi Laibin Yinhai Aluminum Co., Ltd. and Guangxi Investment Group Yinhai Aluminum Co., Ltd., to unlawfully accept significant financial benefits for others. As a representative of a state-owned enterprise, his actions are deemed extremely irresponsible and have allegedly led to substantial losses for the national interest. Consequently, he may face criminal charges for bribery and dereliction of duty.
