In a shocking case from India, a school principal found himself caught in a disturbing scheme to alleviate his school’s financial woes. Joining forces with teachers, the principal was involved in the abduction of students for a misguided “human sacrifice” ritual aimed at turning the school’s fortunes around. Tragically, during one of these attempts, a seven-year-old boy named Kritarth was strangled to death when he unexpectedly regained consciousness, leading to a panic among the perpetrators. Disturbingly, this was not the first incident; the group had previously tried to abduct another child, a nine-year-old, who managed to escape.
The incident unfolded in Hathras district, Uttar Pradesh, where families have struggled under immense financial stress due to the school’s ongoing debts. On September 22, Kritarth was lured into this deadly plan. His father, Krishna Kushwaha, received a call from the school stating that his son was unwell. However, when he arrived, he was told that Principal Dinesh Baghel had taken Kritarth to the hospital. It was only later that he discovered his son’s belongings and eventually his lifeless body, which brought the shocking crime to light.
Local authorities are investigating the case and found ritual items at the scene, revealing that the murder stems from superstitious beliefs. The principal’s father, Jasodhan Singh, had a history of following occult practices. In a misguided effort to secure the school’s prosperity, he and the principal believed that a human sacrifice was necessary.
As the investigation continues, five individuals, including Baghel, his father, and three teachers, have been arrested, with police emphasizing the need for further inquiry into this horrific incident.
