On October 21, the Fuzhou Maritime Safety Administration announced that live-fire training will be conducted in the waters near the eastern part of Lianshan Island in the Kemen Waterway on October 22, 2024, starting at 8:12 AM. To ensure safe navigation, there will be a two-way traffic control in certain areas from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on that day, prohibiting all unrelated vessels from entering or exiting the controlled waters.

The specific no-entry zone for the live-fire training is defined by the following coordinates: Point 1 (26°25′40″N, 119°47′52″E), Point 2 (26°25′12″N, 119°48′02″E), Point 3 (26°25′58″N, 119°48′45″E), and Point 4 (26°26′08″N, 119°48′15″E).

Additionally, the Pingtan Maritime Safety Administration issued a navigation warning on the same day, informing that certain coastal areas around Niushan Island will also be conducting live-fire training. From 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM on October 22, all vessels are prohibited from entering these designated zones.
