The Boston Celtics and the Denver Nuggets are set to kick off the annual preseason international games at the NBA Abu Dhabi Games 2024, starting October 4. The venue for this exciting event will be the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi.

This marks the third consecutive season the NBA has hosted games in the United Arab Emirates, furthering its outreach to basketball fans in the Middle East.

Last season, the Dallas Mavericks and the Minnesota Timberwolves were among the teams invited to participate.

The inaugural Abu Dhabi exhibition game featured a matchup between the Atlanta Hawks and the Milwaukee Bucks, showcasing the league’s efforts to engage with an international audience.

The Boston Celtics, who claimed the NBA Championship last season, and the Denver Nuggets, the league champions from two seasons ago, will bring their competitive spirit to the international stage.

With a commitment to promoting American professional basketball culture, the NBA plans to expand its international presence this season with games targeting fans in four regions, including Mexico City, Montreal in Canada, and Paris, France.
